Just a quick notice to bring your attention to the fact that the XBMC team have released Eden Beta 2 of the fantastically amazing XBMC.

The download servers are currently being hammered so you may want to hold of until the things lighten up.

Chrome extension alerts you of SOPA supporters

You’ve probably heard of SOPA, or the Stop Online Piracy Act. If not you should check out the handy video on Vimeo which explains it all really quickly and tells you why you should care.

There’s a handy extension for Chrome, aptly named No SOPA. It subtly tells you when you’re on a website which supports SOPA.

What’s VGiko?

I wanted a place where I could read the latest on apps for both Mac, Windows and anything else I find a little interesting. I really liked Lifehacker and Download Squad until the Gawker redesign killer LH for me and I believe Download Squad got swallowed up by AOL’s purchase of the Huffington Post. It’s really going to be focused around tech, apps but with the odd tangent into the unknown.

If you’re into technology then you might want to subscribe or at the very least stick around for a while.
