Borderlands has received a steady stream of sizable DLC and it looks that trend will continue. The new DLC announced Today is entitled Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution. It’s expected sometime in September on the XBLM for 800 MSPoints, PSN and Windows PC for £6.29.
What’s it about? Well it takes you and your co-op buddies on a mission to try and suppress a Claptrap revolution, using one of four vault hunters. You’ll find yourself caught in the middle of a deadly civil war between the Hyperion Corporation’s well-armed goons and a mind-numbing amount of Claptraps — of which are being led by Ninja Assassin.
“A year ago Borderlands was an untested brand that through hard work and a lot of passion, turned out to be one of the best-selling, claptastic and skagtacular games we have ever created,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K.
You have to put all the Hyperion Corporation’s crap behind you and join sides with them to help take down the Kung-fu expert known as Ninja Assassin.
You can expect 20 new missions to pillage loot from, tons of fresh enemies to take apart, waves of homicidal Claptraps, well-armed Hyperion soldiers, and includes local creatures that have been Claptrap-ified – including crab-traps, rakk-traps and skag-trapps.
If that wasn’t enough of a reason to pick up Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution, there is also the chance to pick up an extra 10 skill points taking the total up to 71 and 3 new backpack slots.

This is my weapon... there are many like it.
The Legends and Killers DLC for the massively popular Red Dead Redemption has been released on both the Xbox Marketplace and PlayStation Network.
“With Legends & Killers we wanted to provide a wealth of new content for fans of Red Dead Redemption,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games.“We took care to pick out areas that were unique and exciting and then polished them to provide the best possible multiplayer experience.”
The DLC includes nine new multiplayer locations, ranging from the fog-filled riverside at Thieves’ Landing to the modern metropolis of Blackwater. Also eight classic personalities make an appearance from Red Dead Revolver as multiplayer characters, including Red Harlow, Jack Swift, Annie Stoakes and Shadow Wolf among others.
Along with these new locations and characters, there is also the Tomahawk, a deadly projectile, giving you even more possibilities to get creative when knocking a fellow gamer off the mortal coil.
They’ve even given more opportunities to earn Achievements and Trophies.

We're here for the DLC.
DLC entitled, Ranger Pack will be heading to both the Xbox Live Marketplace and Steam on Tuesday August 3rd.
The Ranger Pack, packs a punch and comes along with new weapons, achievements and also the ‘Ranger Mode’ game rules. This mode sees the ammo dramatically reduced and all weapons inflict more damage onto your enemies. Your foes are deadlier than ever – but so are you.
If that’s not enough for you the ‘Ranger Hardcore’ mode adds an additional challenge by completely removing the HUD, adding to the immerse experience.
The two new weapons are – the Heavy Automatic Shotgun, and the Volt Driver. If that isn’t enough for you to pick up the new DLC, there is new achievements and gamerscore up for grabs.
All this for just 240MSP on XBLM and for free on Steam when it’s delivered via an auto-update through Steam.

You got a spare DLC code?
The first of two DLC packs has arrived for Alan Wake. If you bought the game new you should have a redeemable code, now is the time to use it. If you don’t have such a code you’ll have to fork out $7 for The Signal.
If you couldn’t wait for The Signal and used your code before today, fear not Microsoft are on top of it.

2K Games have today sent word that the first of two DLC packs planned for Mafia 2 will be available the same day the game launches and will be exclusive to the PlayStation 3, and completely free. If you don’t have a code which will come with the game you can pick up the DLC for just £6.29.
The Betrayal of Jimmy DLC will throw players into an alternate perspective of the mob through the eyes of Jimmy, who’s a mercenary. He’s the kind of guy people call when they need to finish a job. Hot on the heels of Blacklight: Tango Down, it’s been confirmed by Big Download that the follow-up Blacklight: Tango Down 2 is already in development and scheduled for a Summer 2011 release.

Blacklight: Tango Down a downloadable FPS has now touched down on the PC and is available for just 15 Euros. You get quite a lot of content for those 15 Euros. You get 12 maps, seven game types, four co-op missions. Quite a good deal.
You can get the game via Steam, Microsoft Games for Windows, Impulse and Direct 2 Drive.

Map pack 4 has been released on consoles and will soon be available on the PC flavour of the game at around 16:00. They recommend you fire up your machines and head to the in-game store and get downloading!
The new map pack adds the Rush Mode to Atacama Desert, and Conquest Mode has now been added to the Port Valdez map. No proper-new maps just yet but it’s nice to see DICE still supporting the game with regular updates and DLC.
Perhaps the recently announced Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam expansion pack coming something later in the year will be the first pack to add new battlefield to the game.
The spectacular Alan Wake will soon receive some DLC. Remedy and Microsof have released a few screenshots from the new DLC entitled, ‘The Signal’. It doesn’t reveal anything mind-blowing but shows there is progress towards the July 26th release date.
