    BioShock Infinite Announced with trailer and details

    The sky's the limit

    2K Games have today announced the development of BioShock Infinite. This time it takes you out of the murky depths of the ocean towards and towards the heavens. That’s right it’s set in the sky.

    BioShock Infinite is set in 1912, and introduces an new setting, Columbia a vast city in the sky. Columbia was planned to be a floating symbol for all the American ideals and was beginning to to emerge as a world power. All is well until the city disappears into thin air and its whereabouts are unknown.

    “We are excited to expand the world of BioShock, which is one of the industry’s most critically acclaimed and beloved franchises,” said Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “We believe that Irrational Games will lend their meticulous attention to detail and unique storytelling expertise to make BioShock Infinite an incredible entertainment experience that will immerse new and diehard fans of BioShock alike.”
